A curious puppy seeking adventure
After spending my 20s fluttering around, I’m now happily settled in a rural part of San Diego where houses are separated by acres and not square feet. It’s a great home for someone like me, who is equal parts homebody and outdoor adventurer. My husband and I love working from home and exploring the world together.
From a baby book. My parents didn’t want to know whether they were having a boy or a girl, but they wanted to know they were having a Brentan.
I love quiet time at home doing stuff that’s boring to everyone except the person doing it (for whom it’s wonderful!)–stuff like reading, writing, meditating, listening to podcasts, and practicing yoga. I also love being outside and spending time at the beach, the desert, and the mountains.
I want to strike the balance between directing my life towards specific outcomes, and remaining flexible when life has other plans in store for me. My vision board represents my values and how I want to move through life: I want to stay curious and explore the world. I want to actively work to achieve my potential, and at the same time enjoy the up and down process of life. I don’t know where life is taking me, but I’m sure excited to see it!
I would like a mentorship team, please! Let’s go with Robert Greene, Marcus Lemonis, and Meryl Streep.
My plans are to be spontaneous, take care of myself, and spend time with loved ones.
A sand dollar – I’d like to know what it feels like to be an animal without a central nervous system.
I would go stare at the ceiling of the Sistine chapel and try to notice all the different parts of it.
A home spa – sauna, steam shower, cold plunge, float tank, koi pond, infinity pool with a grotto.
Always stand-up comedy.
When Chris Rock got slapped by Will Smith at The Oscars last year, I had so many questions. Was it staged? What were the underlying tensions between Will, Jada, and Chris? Why was everyone behaving the way they did? Then, I discovered this video by a behavioral analyst that answered everything. His channel has been so helpful to me in understanding why I feel the way I do around other people, which can usually be answered by cues in body language, facial expressions, and word choice!
Being part of a winning team.
I love to make things easy for my clients - communication, workflows and above-and-beyond deliverables. I want your experience working with our team to be fun, effective, and a low-calorie expense.
StringCan is already a winning team. I’m excited to join to help us win faster and have an even better time doing it.
Hitting the right target.
Once upon a time, I founded and ran a yoga studio in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. It was one of the hardest and most rewarding challenges of my life. It birthed an entrepreneurial spirit in me that I don’t think will ever go away.
